Since 2010, when Greece entered a state of economic panic, the narrative of “investment-friendly” legislation has entered everyday political life. Suddenly, it was forgotten that legislation should be friendly not only to “investment”, but to all the provisions that ensure social fabric and the viability of societies – once known as the public interest.
