Wind turbine causes large bushfire

It is estimated that worldwide more than 117 separate fires are breaking out in turbines annually.

These fires are a serious danger for the surrounding nature, especially in the dry Mediterranean climate. A wind turbine that caught fire and sparked a wild fire in September 2017 Northeast of Evanston, Wyoming burned about 6.000.000 m2 of brushland.
