After the permit for the planned industrial wind park on Mermingari hill was recently revoked, we received more good news. The application for 1 mega windturbine in the area of Sopota (near Avlemonas), that had not resulted in a permit yet, has been withdrawn. 

It seems like the island’s struggle is slowly paying off !!
