How to individually participate in the public consultation

Apart from participating by co-signing the D11 Objection you can also participate INDIVIDUALLY in the consultation.  

Below the process for participating in the electronic public consultation for the project titled:

“Complex of three (3) Wind Power Stations (WPS) with a total installed capacity of 135 MW and a maximum output capacity of 131.42 MW at the locations ‘KARVOUNOLAKKOS – FOINIKIES’ (31.5 MW), ‘KORDELIDES’ (51.96 MW) & ‘XEROKAMBIA’ (47.9 MW)”,
either as private individuals or legal entities, lasts only 15 minutes and is as follows:

Step 1
Visit the homepage https://eprm.ypen.gr/ and register with the Electronic Environmental Registry of the Ministry of Environment and Energy (YPEN), by filling out the relevant form. You verify your identity using your TaxisNet credentials. Confirm your registration as a “registered user” by clicking the link in the automated confirmation email sent to the address you provided.

Step 2
Once registered, click “Log out” at the top right, then return to the homepage of the registry (https://eprm.ypen.gr/) and log in using your username and password as well as the security code prompted by the system. Click the blue “Login” button.

Step 3
After logging in, the page titled “Environmental Licensing in the 21st Century” will appear. Go to the top right and click on the section titled “Projects/Activities in Disclosure – Consultation.”

Step 4
From the drop-down menu, select “Environmental Impact Approval (AEPO) for Projects/Activities A1”, which opens the “Projects/Activities in Disclosure – Consultation” page. In the search box at the top right, type or paste the Environmental Identity Number (EIN) of the project: 2408001317.

Step 5
On the left, in large letters, you will see:

“Complex of three (3) Wind Power Stations (WPS) with a total installed capacity of 135 MW and a maximum output capacity of 131.42 MW at the locations ‘KARVOUNOLAKKOS – FOINIKIES’ (31.5 MW), ‘KORDELIDES’ (51.96 MW) & ‘XEROKAMBIA’ (47.9 MW)”.

This confirms you have accessed the project’s page. If the project does not appear, log out (top right) and repeat steps 2, 3, and 4.

Step 6
On the new page, a menu appears with categorized information about the project. Select “Public Consultation” and scroll down to the bottom where you will see a blue box labeled “Participate in the consultation.”

Step 7
In the comments box, either type your opinion

Step 8
Click the blue “Submit” button and wait for the confirmation message that your position in the consultation has been recorded.
