The Malea Peninsula is threatened by 3 new wind farms.

They consist of 33 wind turbines of the company ELLAKTOR, 150 meters high (!), From Kounos to Agios Fokas to Pano Kastania, within walking distance from Faraklo and Mesochori. The mountains, the beautiful landscape of Myrtos, will literally level, since it will be necessary to open roads of more than 32 kilometers, but also to dig another 65 kilometers for the underground cable that will carry the current to the PPC Substation in Molai!
