The shocking photos below give an accurate impression from where we will be able to see one wind turbine with a total height of 100 meters, located at the top of Mermigari.

Some clarifications:

1. The circular section shows the visibility at sea, taking into account the curvature of the land.
2. The red spots on almost the entire island indicate the areas from which it will be visible taking into account the terrestrial relief.
3. Red spots will be observed up to the hinterland of Peloponnese, the mountains of Arcadia and the prefecture of Heraklion in Crete
4. All this under conditions of good visibility and during the night. Under these conditions it can be seen from the top of Psiloritis of Crete and from Milos island.

This is the impact of only 1 turbine on top of Mermengaris. Let’s imagine the phenomenon multiplier, with 15 wind turbines at the highest peak and a total of 110 turbines across the whole island, even up to 150 meters high!
